NPCIL Recruitment 2021 for Scientific Assistant/Trade Apprentices

NPCIL Recruitment 2021 : Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited has announced a notification for the recruitment to the post of Scientific Assistant/Trade Apprentices.

There are 179 vacancies are to be filled for this posts.

Interested candidates who are all eligible for this recruitment can apply on or before 21 August 2021. The educational qualification of the candidates must be B.Sc/Diploma/ITI/10th.

The age limit of the candidates are not less than 14 to 35 years.

Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited NPCIL is a public sector industry which comes into existence in the year 1987. It functioning under the Department of Atomic Energy. The headquarter is located in Mumbai. At present Nuclear Power Corporation has 21 nuclear reactors operation at seven locations. All nuclear power plants working under NPCIL industry is certified by the environmental management system.

Educational Qualification

• Passed 10th class examination with Science and Mathematics under 10+2 system of education or its equivalent and ITI Pass Certificate in relevant trades.

Age Limit :

• General/EWS – 24 years

• Fitter – 50 Posts
• Machinist – 25 Posts
• Welder (Gas & Electric)- 8 Posts
• Electrician – 40 Posts
• Electronic Mechanic – 20 Posts
• Pump Operator cum Mechanic – 5 Posts
• Instrument Mechanic – 20 Posts
• Mechanic (Chiller Plant) Industrial Air Conditioning – 5 Posts

Salary : Rs.7,700/- to Rs.8,855/-

Selection process

The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained in ITI Course.

NPCIL Recruitment 2021 for Scientific Assistant

Educational Qualification :

• Diploma in Engineering or B.Sc from the Institute recognized by UGC/AICTE with Minimum 50% marks. One year full time Diploma/Certificate in Industrial Safety from Central Labour Institute (CLI) or Regional Labour Institutes (RLIs) under DGFASLI, Ministry of Labour or Institutes recognized by Government of India.
• Candidates with HSC + 2 year Diploma Course in Engineering (Approved by AICTE) with 50% or above marks are also eligible. Candidates with Diploma in Engineering through Lateral Entry to 2nd Year Diploma in Engineering after Xth (SSC) + ITI are not eligible.

Minimum four years of relevant experience after obtaining requisite qualification.

Age Limit:

General – 35 years

Salary : Rs.44,900/-

Selection process

The selection will be based on Written Examination and Interview.

Written Examination

• OMR Based OR Computer Based Test will be held for Screened-in candidates. The duration of examination will be of 2 Hours. Examination will comprise 100 multiple choice questions (Choice of four answers) in the following proportion:

• The duration of Examination will be 2 hours. 01 mark to be awarded for each correct answer. The cut off marks to pass the Written Examination shall be for General Category (UR) is 40% and for SC/ST -30% marks. However, all passed candidates will not be called for interview. Calling for interview depends upon the number of candidate qualifying in written examination.
