NIT Calicut Walk In Interview 2020 : National Institute of Technology,Calicut has issued the latest notification for the post of Electricians (on contract).
The Institute proposes to prepare a panel of qualified and experienced persons for engaging them on
purely contract basis (for a period of eleven months) in the Electrical Maintenance Unit.

Qualification
- Senior secondary (10+2) from a recognized board and ITI Course of one year or higher duration in Electrician Trade
Or - Matric with at least 60% marks and ITI Certificate of 2 year’s duration in Electrician Trade
Or - Diploma in Electrical Engineering of three years’ duration.
Experience
- Minimum one year in operation and maintenance of transformers, DG.sets, repair and maintenance of all electrical accessories/ Equipment’s.
Age Limit
- Maximum age limit 27 years as on 01.02.2020
How to Apply
Candidates without original certificates showing experience, mark list and certificates in respect of
qualification and age will not be allowed to attend the Interview. Candidates should report for the
certificate verification half an hour before the time of interview. The candidate should bring along
with them the completed registration form provided in the website, without which they will not
permitted to attend the interview.
This engagement will carry a consolidated pay of Rs.13,750/- (Rupees Thirteen thousand seven hundred and fifty only) per month.
Interested candidates with the specified qualifications can report for the interview at their own expenses in the office of National Institute of Technology Calicut as per the schedule given below with all the certificates and portfolios in original and a set of photocopy. Diagnostic test will be conducted if required (on the same day).
No TA/DA will be paid. Due consideration will be given to SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PH candidates on production of valid original certificates from the competent authority. OBC candidates must furnish the OBC Certificate (including non – creamy-layer status) issued by a competent authority.
