Indian Army Recruitment 2020 : Indian Army has released the application notification for Combined Recruitment for 223 Advance Base Ordnance Depot, 17 Field Ammunition Depot & 23 Field Ammunition Depot for the post of Tradesmen Mate, MTS, Firemen, Junior Office Assistant for 108 vacancies.
Candidates with the qualification of 10th/12th can apply for this job with proper age and physical fitness. The selection process is based on the Physical Endurance / Skill Test, Written Test and Interview. Eligible candidates can apply through postal on or before 04 January 2020. The detailed eligibility and list of rally date and locations are given below.

Educational Qualification
Tradesmen Mate/ MTS/ Firemen
- Candidates should pass 10th class or equivalent from the recognized University/Board.
Junior Office Assistant
- Candidates should pass 12th class or equivalent from the recognized University/Board.

Pay Scale
- Tradesmen Mate/ MTS : Rs 18,000 – 56,900/- Level -01
- Firemen/ Junior Office Assistant : Rs 19,900 – 63,200/- Level -02
Selection Process
- The selection will be based on the Physical Endurance / Skill Test, Written Test and Interview.
Physical Standards Required/Tests
Fireman (Male candidates only)
Height – 165 cms (2 cms relaxation for ST)
Weight – 50 kg (Minimum)
Chest – 81.5 cms/85 cms (with expanse)
a) Running – 1.6 KM
Qualifying time – up to 6 Minutes
Fail – Beyond 6 Minutes
b) Clearing 2.7 meters wide ditch and landing on both feet.
c) Carrying a man (Fireman lift) of 63.5 kgs to distance of 183 Meters within 96 seconds.
d) Climbing 03 meters vertical rope using hands and feet.
Tradesman (Mate)
a) Running – 1.5 Km only (for male candidates)
Qualifying time – upto 6 Minutes
Fail – Beyond 6 Minutes
b) Carrying a weight 50 kgs to distance of 200 Meters within 100 seconds.
For Female Candidates : Timing of Physical Endurance Test for female candidates will be as deemed fit by the BOO conducting recruitment.
Junior Office Assistant
a) Written Test
b) Typing test
- English Typing @ 35 w.p.m.
- Hindi Typing @ 30 w.p.m.
- Time Allowed – 10 Minutes.
