Cantonment Board Recruitment 2020 : Cantonment Board invites online application from the eligible candidates for the post of Medical Officer, Clerk, Fireman, Barrier Guard, X-Ray Technician, Mazdoor, Valveman, Safaiwalas – 13 vacancies in Kasauli. Candidates with the qualification of MBBS/ B.Sc/ Diploma/ 12th/ 8th are eligible to apply for this job.

The selection process is based on Written Test, Skill/ Typing Test, Physical /trade Test, Interview & Document verification. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for these positions through online at Cantonment Board website (www.canttboardrecruit.org) before the last date.

The detailed eligibility criteria and application process are given below.

Educational Qualification

For Medical Officer:

• Candidates should complete MBBS from any recognized institute.

For Clerk:

• Candidates should have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent from a recognized Board of School Education/University.
• Should possess a minimum speed of 30 words per minute in English typewriting or 25 words per minute in Hindi Typewriting on computer.
• Should have the knowledge of word processing in computer

For Fireman:

• Candidates should have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent from a recognized Board of School Education/University.
• Should be a member of Home Guard
• Should have qualified basic training courses of the Home Guard and the elementary Fireman’s service course conducted by the recognized govt Fire Service Department
• Minimum Physical Standards: Height: 165 cm, Chest: 80 Cm with expansion of 85 Cm, Eyesight: 6/6 without glasses, Weight: 52 Kg

For Barrier Guard:

• Candidates should have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent from a recognized Board of School Education/University.
• Minimum Physical Standards: Height: 165 cm, Chest: 79 Cm without expansion & 84 Cm after expansion

For X-Ray Technician:

• 10+2 in Science or its equivalent from a recognized University/Board.
• One year Diploma in Radiology from an Institution recognized by Govt. OR
• B.Sc Degree in Radiology from the any recognized University or equivalent

Mazdoor:

• Should be 8th pass from an Institute recognized by the Government and Must have an experience

For Valveman:

• Candidates should be 8th pass from an Institute recognized by the Government
• Should have experience of plumbing, water fittings etc.

For Safaiwalas:

• Candidates should be 8th pass from an Institute recognized by the Government

Age Limit (as on 15.05.2020)

• Medical Officer: 18-30 years
• Clerk/ Fireman/ X-Ray Technician: 18-25 years
• Barrier Guard: 18-28 years
• Mazdoor/ Valveman: 18-30 years
• Safaiwalas: UR 18-25 years, SC 18-30 years, OBC 18-28 years

Selection Process

For Medical Officer : Selection will be based on only Interview

For Clerk:

• Multiple Choice Objective type examination of 100 marks (Duration 90 minutes)
• Typing test for Minimum speed of 30 words per minute in English typewriting or 25 words per minute in Hindi
• Typewriting on computer

For Fireman/ Barrier Guard/ X-Ray Technician:

• Skill Test
• Multiple Choice Objective type examination of 100 marks (Duration 90 minutes).

For Mazdoor/ Safaiwalas:

• Physical /trade Test
• Multiple Choice Objective type examination of 100 marks (Duration 90 minutes).

Valveman:

• Physical/trade Test
• Water Fitting and plumbing skill test
• Multiple Choice Objective type examination of 100 marks (Duration 90 minutes).

Application Fee

• For UR/ OBC/ Ex-serviceman: Rs.500/-
• For Female: Rs.100/-
  Note: No fee for Scheduled Castes/ Persons with Disability candidates
