Smart City Thiruvananthapuram Limited (SCTL) Notification 2021 : Centre for Management Development (CMD) invites application from qualified and competent candidates for appointment to various posts, on contract basis, in Project Implementation Team of Smart City Thiruvananthapuram Limited, a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) constituted under the Companies Act for the implementation of Smart City Mission in Thiruvananthapuram.

Vacancy Details

Post Name : Structural Engineer

• No of Vacancies : 01
• Qualification : M.Tech in Structural Engineering
• Experience* : Minimum 3 years relevant experience
  1. Reviewing the structural models prepared by
  consultants/contractors.
  2. Analyzing configuration of the basic structural elements of building.
  3. Liasoning with architects and site engineers to agree on safe design
  and their fit with aesthetic concept of construction.
  4. Drafting the design and modelling using softwares like Autocad,
  Stadpro, Etabs etc.
  5. Conducting regular site visits and design checks.
  6. Experience in Govt./Semi Govt. organizations preferable.

Post Name : Senior Site Engineer (Civil)

• No of Vacancies : 02
• Qualification : B.Tech in Civil Engineering Or Diploma in Civil Engineering
• Experience* :  Minimum 4 years Site Experience (B.Tech)
  Or
  Minimum 8 years Site Experience (Diploma)
  1. Understand the civil engineering drawings and executing work as
  per tender specifications.
  2. Checking plan, drawings and quantities prior to execution.
  3. Preparation and maintenance of quality documents and conducting
  quality checks.
  4. Overseeing work supervision and ensuring project meets agreed
  specifications, budgets and timescales.
  5. Preparing measurement book with contractor/PMC and necessary
  registers.
  6. Conducting regular site meeting with contractors with regard to
  progress.
  7. Safety assurance at site.
  8. Experience in Govt./Semi Govt. organizations preferable

Post Name : Senior Site Engineer (Electrical)

• No of Vacancies : 01
• Qualification : B.Tech in Electrical Engineering Or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• Experience* :  Minimum 4 years Site Experience (B.Tech)
  Or
  Minimum 8 years Site Experience (Diploma)
  1. Experience in Electrical system HT/LT design, wiring design,
  hands on experience using any one of the design software like
  AUTOCAD/Revit/BIM and simulation software like Dialux, and
  knowledge in estimation and supervision experience of projects
  as per CPWD/PWD standards,
  2. Understanding of relevant IEC/IS codes/CPWD works
  manual/PWD works manual and monitoring of the site to ensure
  the electrical works are satisfactorily as per priority throughout all
  the execution stages with respect to milestones and tender
  specifications and reporting the onsite work progress of all
  electrical aspects of the project to the General Manager/Execution
  team.
  3. Checking multiple projects plan, SLD drawings and BOQ
  quantities prior to execution and Coordinating the same at the
  site with civil works at site.
  4. Preparation and maintenance of quality documents and
  conducting quality checks.
  5. Preparing measurement book with contractor/PMC and necessary
  registers and drawings.
  6. Conducting regular site meeting with contractors with regard to
  progress evaluation and remedial actions.
  7. Experience in Govt./Semi Govt. organizations preferable.
  8. To prepare SLD drawings and verify the applicable statutory
  documents for Kerala State Inspectorate approvals

Post Name : Senior Site Engineer (MEP)

• Qualification : B. Tech in Electrical/
  Mechanical Engineering
  Or
  Diploma in Electrical/
  Mechanical Engineering
• Experience* : Minimum 4 years Site Experience (B. Tech)
  Or
  Minimum 8 years Site Experience (Diploma)
  1. Experience in using design software like AUTOCAD/Revit/BIM and
  simulation software, and knowledge in taking estimation and
  supervision experience of projects as per CPWD/PWD standards.
  2. Understanding of relevant IEC/IS codes/CPWD works
  manual/PWD works manual and monitoring of the site to ensure
  the electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire safety is working
  satisfactorily as per priority throughout all the execution stages
  with respect to milestones and tender specifications and reporting
  the onsite progress of all MEP aspects to the General
  Manager/Execution team.
  3. Checking multiple projects plan, SLD drawings and BOQ
  quantities prior to execution and Co-ordinating the same at the
  site along with civil works.
  4. Preparation and maintenance of quality documents and
  conducting quality checks.
  5. Preparing measurement book with contractor/PMC and necessary
  registers and drawings.
  6. Conducting regular site meeting with contractors with regard to
  progress evaluation and remedial actions.
  7. Experience in Govt./Semi Govt. organizations preferable.
  8. To prepare drawings and verify the applicable statutory NOCs
  documents based on the building projects to Fire department

Post Name : Quantity Surveyor/s

• No of Vacancies : 02
• Qualification :  B. Tech in Civil Engineering Or Diploma in Civil Engineering
• Experience* :  Minimum 4 years Site Experience (B. Tech)
  Or
  Minimum 8 years Site Experience (Diploma)
  1. Checking running account bills, detailed project reports, preparation
  of bill of quantity and agreements.
  2. Preparation of estimates and submission for sanction for approval.
  3. Maintaining necessary reports to be submitted along with running
  account bill.
  4. Well versed with CPWD/Kerala PWD works manual, DSR and
  analysis of rates.
  5. Preparation of contract related agreements in accordance with
  Government statutory rules.
  6. Experience in Govt./Semi Govt. organizations preferable.
